A New-Age Christmas Menu

Sometimes it’s good to shake things up.

This year for Christmas is a little different for us. We’re heading back to IL like normal but a lot of family members aren’t able to attend. And that can be hard for a lot of people who, like myself, love family traditions.

But instead of being sad and allowing that to sour a perfectly good holiday, why not take this time to try new things and spice it up? You can still make really sweet memories without the “norm”.

So my mom is hosting this year and I’ve offered to help create a menu and cook. This is the best place to shake things up and have some fun!

There’s one tradition that we aren’t skipping this year.. and that’s our Christmas morning monkey bread. Rain or shine, we will have monkey bread!
