I’ve been on a kick of viewing nature as God’s decor all around us and what a thing to search and preserve for things I can use in our home too.

I was walking through the antique mall and saw a booth with some miniature birdhouses covered in birdseed and I absolutely loved them!! I figured it should be easy enough to replicate and give one as a Christmas gift to my grandparents - and you guys, it was soo easy and so fun to do.. and messy !!

This year’s Christmas decor felt a little unhinged.. and I quite liked that. I don’t feel like our style was easily defined. It blended the earthy moody-ness of our home with the 90s nostalgia Christmas feel.

I remember my moms sloppy joes back in the day. Usually ground beef with a sloppy tomato sauce on white buns and a side of mac n cheese. Although I love those, I’m really really happy to have a healthy and equally as tasty version.

I’m new to coffee and espresso. I’ve always disliked it but something has finally clicked with me in the last year and now I own an espresso machine and crave that first cup of brewed coffee in the morning.

Here’s my gameplan every January to keep my spirits high and make some of my favorite memories during these cold, grey months.
