Maple Cinnamon Walnut Granola

Nothing screams fall like a pairing of maple syrup, cinnamon and walnuts. And since I’ve been loving granola lately, I thought this fun and simple recipe would be a great way to ease into my autumn mood. The recipe is so simple. It doesn’t take much active time, just a little bit of patience while it bakes and cools. But it will seriously fill your home with the most heavenly autumn scent!!

Ingredients —

  • 3 cups whole rolled oats

¼ cup white whole wheat flour

    ¼ cup chia seeds

    ½ teaspoon salt

    2 teaspoons cinnamon

    1 cup walnuts

    ½ cup raisins

    ½ cup pure maple syrup

    ½ cup coconut oil, melted

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions —

  1. Preheat your oven to 300 degrees, and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a large, bowl, combine oats, flour, chia seeds, salt, cinnamon, walnuts, and raisins.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Whisk together to combine.

  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, and stir until everything is evenly coated.

  5. Bake the granola at 300 degrees for 35 minutes, gently stirring once halfway through.

  6. Let granola cool completely. Then break with hands into chunks. If you break it too early, it’ll be smaller crumbles rather than chunks.
