Ultimate Spring Cleaning Guide

Spring cleaning can be a daunting task because it’s hard to know where to start. Sometimes starting in the wrong room can derail your motivation. I recommend starting your spring cleaning by lighting some candles, take a moment to step back and envision your home fully cleaned, organized and feeling fresh. Use this time to get a mental jump on your motivation.
Let’s tackle spring cleaning together and go through each room in order:

01. The Kitchen

The kitchen is the hub of our home. It’s where gathering and nourishing happens.. as well as the mess. Start here to get a fresh view on your home as a whole.

02. The Living Room.

The next major rooms are the living and family rooms. Usually connected or nearby the kitchen, move into these rooms. Get them vacuumed, dusted and back in order.

03. The Bathrooms.

Everyone’s least favorite room to clean but you should do it now while you still have a “cleaning high”. Move into each bathroom, completely wiping and sanitizing everything.

04. The Bedrooms

Next up is the bedrooms. Usually covered in clothes or toys - get everything in it’s spot, strip the beds, and wipe down every surface. You’ll feel so great come bedtime!

05. The Office

Cleaning the office can be similar to cleaning a bedroom. Move into the office next and get it back in order. Clean out drawers and filing cabinets. Wipe down every surface including the keyboard.

06. The Laundry Room

Usually a quick clean, tackle the laundry room next by wiping down the washer and dryer, moping the floors, and organizing anything that’s been piled up in this room.

07. The Garage

Saving the garage for last is a good idea since it may take a whole day for itself. Open up the garage door and pull everything out into the driveway while throwing away things no longer needed. Spray off the floor and start a fresh organization system.
